Virtual CloneDrive is a free virtual CD/DVD drive creator.
Virtual CloneDrive creates a virtual unit where you can load CD’s and DVD’s as if you were putting them in the tray.
This application can be really useful if you have downloaded or created CD or DVD images and you need to test them before burning them.
Once you run it, it works exactly as a real drive unit, in fact, it appears as a CD/DVD unit in My PC folder.
In short, if you usually burn CD’s and DVD’s, now you can test the content before burning them. Save money on discs, and if you have a big HD, you can load images without having to search for the discs, just load an image on the virtual drives and enjoy.
