SCARM stands for ‘Simple Computer Aided Railway Modeller’. It’s an application that you can use to create railway layouts and visualize them in three dimensions.

Using it is similar to any CAD program, with the main difference being that in this case, it’s a little easier. Taking the reins of the program is relatively simple thanks to an intuitive interface and its own helpful website.

Once your railway is ready ‘on paper’, you can see its three-dimensional representation with just one click. In fact, you can check your progress periodically, to make sure you aren’t committing any mistakes along the way.
